The mission of the Maine ARES/RACES District 1 organization is to coordinate the collective efforts of the ARES  organizations in Cumberland, Oxford, Sagadahoc and York counties. To share equipment, operational and training concepts between the counties. To provide a plan for mutual aid between the counties in the district during times of disaster or emergency.
