Training 
There are three levels of training within Cumberland County ARES/RACES.  These are:
 
Trainee - Has an amateur radio license, has a sincere desire to serve the community
                 during times of disaster and has registered with Cumberland County
                 ARES/RACES.
 
Full Member - Has completed the following courses:
                          ARRL EC-001 or Maine Emergency Communications Course Level I
                          IS-100 (Introduction to the Incident Command System)
                          IS-700 (Introduction to the National Incident Management System)
 
Leadership - Has completed the requirements for Full Membership plus has completed:
                         For AECs, Communications Support Team Leaders and Official
                         Emergency Stations:
                         ARRL EC-002 or Maine Emergency Communications Course Level II
                         IS-800 (Introduction to the National Response Plan)
 
                         For the EC:  All training listed above, plus:
                         ARRL EC-003 or Maine Leadership Course
